Monuments:
A monument could be a shrine, heiau, inukshuk or even a pyramid. Of course, it should be made of stone, being that it’s most enduring material around.

Stone Fences:
Rock fences give more privacy than wood, chain link, hedges or any other type of retainer. You can’t peek through it and it deadens sound. It has little or no maintenance to upkeep and it will outlast any other material in the in even the harshest conditions.

Outdoor Living Areas:
Here in Hawaii the climate is beautiful so why not spend more time outdoors? You could sit out in the shade and feel the breeze or sun bathe while you enjoy the view. We can create level, comfortable, private zones all around the home. I cook out year round on my outdoor rock fire pit. We sit out into the evening around the fire. I use my outdoor rock shower every day after work. It takes the whole mess of bathing out of the house!

Retaining Walls:
Dry stack rock retainers are a perfect solution to problem, steep areas, curing erosion, diverting water, taming and leveling otherwise unmanageable land. This may be the best application of dry stack rock as it can drain easily without needing weep holes and pipes. Also it can move without breaking as it has less resistance to natural forces such as water. Note the angle of the wall rather than being vertical they lean back toward the mountain counter acting the weight of the earth and water bearing down hill.

Rock Gardens:
Rockwork can be used to make terraces, rockeries and raised beds for your favorite plants. The ground can be leveled to make the garden easier to tend and water. The rockwork can create beautiful platforms or backgrounds for your plants to climb or hang down on. The walls themselves can be host to ferns, succulents, orchids or bromeliads.

Entry Ways:
Rockwork can indeed be used to create a lasting first impression to your home or property. Whether an elaborate entry through rock pilasters with fancy metal gates and statues or something as simple as a stone fence with a wood or pipe gate, or even no gate. I can create an illusion of privacy or make a wide inviting path to the threshold of a home. The possibilities are endless.

Bathing Areas:
Like to sit outside at night and count stars in my fire heated rock furdow (hot tub), this one consists of a stainless steel tank seated on a rock fireplace with a chimney and all. Even if it’s cold or rainy outside it’s cozy sitting up to my ears in the warm water.
I use my outdoor rock shower year round it’s great after work when I’m really dirty. I don’t have to worry about cleaning up in the house as much after.
